Favorite Fall Nail Polishes

If you couldn’t already tell, fall is here which means nail polish collections are going darker for the season. Personally, I rarely wear dark polishes but I’ve been spotting a few “fall” colors that I’ve been adding to my “to buy” list and thought I should share with you all! There’s also some non-fall colors that I think would work great for the season since I’m someone who gets bored easily from the same old colors all the time…anyways check it out! 

OPI “I Have a Herring Problem”

I’ll be honest, I don’t really keep up with all the new OPI collections coming out and have always been more of an Essie fan but I remembered this being in the Holland collection. It’s a denim blue-grey color with subtle silver sparkles in it and oddly enough in certain photos that I’ve seen it comes across as a bit green also. It’s also available in their gel polish formula so I’ll defiantly be grabbing this one soon!

Butter London “Black Knight”

This is probably the only black nail polish that I’ve tried that I actually liked since I think plain old black nail polish looks too severe against my skin tone. This one I got done as a manicure at a salon and it’s the typical black nail polish but what’s different is the microglitter in it which consists of purple, blue, silver, and pink. It makes your nails look sophisticated since the glitter is small yet at the same time it’s fun and interesting to look at! I wish the price was a bit cheaper but I’ve heard great things about them so I might have to splurge on this one!

Essie “Recessionista”

Burgundy is my favorite color to wear during the fall because it looks so rich and makes your nail look instantly glam. This one actually came out last year in Essie’s fall 2012 collection and I consider it my go-to nail polish. I already checked out this year’s fall collection from Essie and nothing really caught my eye even though I know a lot of people are loving “For The Twill of It”…ehh last year’s collection was better haha. If you’re not into blacks but still want to wear dark nail polish try this burgundy color instead!

 Julep “Trina”

I’m a huge Julep fan yet surprisingly only own a couple from them but Trina is one of my favorites since it’s great to wear around October since it has that “witchy” effect to it as I like to call it haha. It’s a dark purple with a slight metallic sheen to it along with fuchsia and blue micro-shimmer in it. For glitter lovers, this may not be for you since it’s a bit subtle but looks great for the season nonetheless.

Chanel “Particuliere”

This color I consider to be a “weird color” because I never would’ve thought about wearing something like this until I actually apply it to my nails. It’s a gorgeous grey-brown sorta of color that looks great with almost any outfit and although it may seem ugly in the bottle, check out the swatches online and you’ll see what I’m talking about! It’s kinda like a winter version of a nude nail polish and although Chanel’s nail polishes are steep, there’s tons of dupes for it!

Nicole by OPI “Khloe Had A Little Lam-Lam”

Last but not least, this color is from the Kardashian Kolor collection from Nicole by OPI and it’s a gorgeous forest green color with a bit of blue in it. Khloe is the only Kardashian that I like and I always notice Khloe’s nail posts on Instagram so it’s no surprise that I loved her nail polish as well. It’s a color that looks amazing on many different skin tones so I highly recommend this one!
