In 2021, one of my resolutions was to switch to more clean beauty products and I decided to do a round up of my favorite ones! The following products have become staples in my routine and I use them almost everyday. I can’t wait to discover more from these brands! Check them out below:
Versed Skincare
Versed is a brand I discovered in Target and I’m OBSESSED! I’ve been using so many skincare products from them and every one of them has been a hit. Their products are effective, affordable and I’m impressed with the ingredients list. My all-time favorite is the Dew Point Moisturizing Gel Cream – it’s the perfect everyday moisturizer that soaks into your skin and doesn’t leave it greasy. I’ve also had great results using the Day Maker Microcrystal Exfoliator (I use this once a week and it works like a charm and leaves my skin super smooth), and the Weekend Glow Daily Brightening Solution (this is so gentle on the skin but helps give a gorgeous glow).
Lastly, I loved the Press Restart Gentle Retinol Serum! It helped reduce dark spots on my skin and gives the most gorgeous glow and even skin tone. I highly recommend any of these products!
Bare Minerals Original Liquid Mineral Foundation
I was sent this foundation in a PR box earlier in January and it was my first time using Bare Minerals – now I understand the hype! I LOVED how lightweight the foundation is, gives a subtle glow (and doesn’t make you look oily) and gives a medium coverage that’s buildable. Check out the results below!
Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm Trio
I’m a huge fan of the Summer Fridays original lip butter balm and was so excited when this trio came out! This is the only lip balm that I’ve tried that actually heals my lips and moisturizes long-term without constantly having to reapply. Plus the new colors in this trio are so gorgeous and perfect to wear on an everyday basis or to layer with lipstick.
Vegamour
I’ve continued using Vegamour products throughout 2021 for my hair loss and to keep my hair healthy and my results are amazing! My holy grail is the Gro Serum but I also have been using the Gro Shampoo & Conditioner, Gro Biotin Gummies and the Gro Dry Shampoo a lot this year. With the Gro Shampoo and Conditioner, it’s gentle enough to use on my color-treated hair while also helping my baby hairs to grow. The Gro Gummies have an amazing flavor with no artificial after taste and helped keep my hair strong with less breakage. As for the Gro Dry Shampoo, this is the ONLY dry shampoo that I use and the only one that I’ve found that helps with hair growth. Before discovering Vegamour, I quit using dry shampoo since it was causing so much scalp buildup for me. With the Gro Dry Shampoo, I haven’t experienced any buildup problems and it doesn’t leave a film or a white tint on my brown hair.
