Golden Shimmer

When it comes to gold, it’s usually not a color that I gravitate towards yet I couldn’t take my eyes off of this sheer sweater when I was in Zara last week. Also can we talk about Zara’s summer collection? So many gorgeous pieces! They always seem to do better during the summer than in the winter. I’ve been seeing the metallics/shimmer trend everywhere in stores but I didn’t have any interest until I tried on this lightweight piece that just screams summer and pairs perfectly with anything that’s white. Plus it’s oversized so you can tuck it into a skirt or jeans and it’ll give you that effortless “I didn’t really try that hard this morning” look. Although I wouldn’t say a sweater is a typical summer piece, this one is sheer and doesn’t scratch your skin like other shimmer sweaters do and is great if you’re going back and forth from air-conditioned environments to the outdoors all day long.
