Over the years, I’ve taken a lot of photos for the blog but by far, this is my absolute favorite shoot of all time and I’m so excited to finally be able to share it with you gals! *insert heart here* A few weeks before my trip, I decided to hire a photographer (for the first time during a trip!) to help me capture the beauty of Palm Beach and found Mary’s work on Instagram. I fell in love with her airy and bright photos and luckily her schedule was free for a shoot that day so everything worked out perfectly (for once lol). I can’t recommend her enough, the photos turned out even better than I imagined! Plus she understands my love for palm trees! Most of these photos were shot at the Colony hotel, Worth Avenue (there’s a via right across from Neiman Marcus which is where those beautiful stairs are!), and the beach that’s right down the street from it. We shot this around 8am and while normally I love sleeping in, I don’t mind getting up early if it means shooting when there’s no one around. Even though I’ve been running a fashion blog for years, I still get nervous and annoyed when there’s tons of people around me when I’m taking photos. I don’t know how people get used to that!

I did feel a bit odd wearing this outfit at that time but it was totally worth it. I love ruffles for the summer and I’ve noticed everyone there was wearing statement earrings with more simple outfits so I had to wear these Kendra Scott earrings in a beautiful maroon color. Also THE BAG. Yes, it was the It bag of summer 2017 and I couldn’t get my hands on it back then but luckily it’s trendy again this summer and I found a dupe for only $40 on Amazon! They have it in other colors and styles as well.
