I’ve been slacking lately with the outfit posts (this is a fashion blog so you would think there would be more haha) but it’s actually for a reason! The rain in Rochester has been non-stop so far this summer. Almost every other day it rains and it’s quite depressing since summer is my favorite season yet it doesn’t even feel like it’s here yet! I keep reminiscing about last summer and how it was in Istanbul and NYC. I was constantly spending time outside exploring, wearing my best summer outfits (which always seems to consist of white), and of course having the best tan. Can you tell I’m obsessed with summer? haha. My best summer memories are in those two cities and I wish I could turn back time and re-live it. It’s funny how you don’t appreciate a moment until after it’s gone. Mhm, maybe I should write a post about how to have a good summer even though the weather sucks? That’s something different haha.
Anyways about this outfit! I actually bought this top a few months ago but have been saving it for nice weather. It’s super lightweight and the lace trim just screams summer plus I love anything that’s one shoulder! I’ve been looking for more one shoulder pieces to add to my wardrobe but so far I haven’t had much luck for some reason. Although I never frequently shop from Abercrombie, once in a while I’ll pass by and find something that I love. Plus the direction that retail is headed, a lot of stores like Abercrombie have been going downhill and a major perk of this is all the sales so make sure to check it out.
Aside from this outfit, I started my retail job at Swarovski on Monday and I forgot how painful it can be to stand on your feet for long hours! I already have so many blisters and this is just the easy training week haha. But I have to say there’s so many pieces in there that I love and the employee discount is amazing so I definitely have to take advantage. Has anyone else gotten a summer job? I’d love to hear your experiences!
Thanks for reading,
