Without a doubt, this has to be my favorite outfit that I’ve worn this summer. It’s girly, sophisticated, and reminds me of NYC because I remember everyone there sporting a chic fedora while walking around especially in the West Village which is where I stayed at during the summer. Can you tell I miss living there? It’s just not the same! 
I’m obsessed with this H&M top that I bought during the beginning of the summer and yet is sold out online but I still see it in stores so make sure to check it out! The ruffles in the back are gorgeous and looks great paired with some shorts like I did here or even with a pencil skirt if you’re going to your internship. As for the shorts, you can kinda see that they have scallops on the side. Normally I wouldn’t pair scallops with ruffles but since the black makes it look subtle, I can pull it off in this case. Apparently Banana Republic thought so too since they put my Instagram photo on their website a few weeks ago! That made my day.
