Happy Friday everyone! I’m actually back in Rochester for a few days to see my family and friends. I actually haven’t been back since May which was before I went to Istanbul so it’s been a long time! Of course, everything looks the same cause Rochester never changes. It was so strange arriving at the airport where it’s dead quiet and then driving home and seeing no one on the streets. Most people miss their homes but nope not me lol. Since I had some free time on my hands, I decided to go out with a friend and shoot this outfit at this pink wall in Rochester that I’ve been wanting to take pics at for a long time. Of course no one ever told me that the color pink is so hard to photograph and looks so much lighter in photos! ugh. It still looks pink right? haha.

Anyways, I’m calling this the summer of the “off the shoulder” because really that’s all I’ve been wearing and I’m pretty everyone else has been too. But they’re just so pretty! I’m probably never going to stop wearing them and totally don’t care if it’s not going to be trendy anymore soon. One of my favorite purchases this summer has to be this black off the shoulder jumpsuit. Jumpsuits are one of those items that are just so hard to find for petite people like me since they never fit right. They’re always too long, too short, or too loose. But this one? It’s perfect. Granted, I did have to cuff the bottoms since they’re too long but I think it just made it look cuter. Unfortunately, I bought this from a local boutique in Istanbul so I can’t link the exact one but I found some pretty close dupes! 

As for the perfect accessory to go with anything off the shoulder, it’s definitely the choker. I’m obsessed with this velvet one with the little pearl on it that came in a set from Forever 21 for only $11. Not too bad! I actually have two other chokers that I haven’t worn yet but I’m sure will make an appearance on the blog soon. What do you think about chokers? Too 90’s or just right?
