One final down and a presentation tomorrow and that’s the end of my junior year of college. It feels strange having a few days in between to rest so I’ve dedicated my time to binge watching a bunch of British shows (I have a massive love for historical dramas and the Brits do it the best! I’m weird, I know haha) and finishing up some last minute papers. As far as my outfits go, I’ve been super casual and surprisingly wore something a little different yesterday for brunch. Everyone needs a classic striped dress in their closet but with a denim shirt wrapped around your waist? This just totally elevated my outfit. It’s not like it was cold or anything but it just made the outfit look so right and adds to the sporty feel of this outfit with the slip on sneakers. It actually reminds me of when I was a kid and my mom would make me bring a jacket wherever I go and would tie it around my waist like this. Oh, the 90’s (thus the title of this post!) ♥ Anyways, it’s super flattering and I highly recommend it if you’re going out for brunch and eating foods with mega carbs in it and need to hide your food baby.
Also, in case you think that my hair looks different in these photos that’s because it is! It was time to go to the salon and I finally got rid of those pesky black roots that I just wasn’t feeling anymore. Hair that’s three different colors? Doesn’t work for everyone. So I spent 4 hours in the salon getting my roots to a light brown shade and a fresh dark blonde balayage that looks more platinum in these photos for some reason haha. I actually didn’t straighten my hair and left it natural but the color looks so much better when it’s straight!
How’s finals going for you guys? Any amazing plans for the summer? Love to hear them!
