Happy Monday everyone! Sundays and Mondays are my days off from my part time job at a local boutique so it’s nice to be able to relax and not have to work. To say that I’m exhausted from last week is an understatement. From working a bunch of extra hours everyday to even handling a fashion show on my own (not as glam as you may think it is!), I forgot what it’s like to actually do nothing haha. I’m not gonna lie though, it’s gonna be nice getting a big check on payday. I’m one of those people that loves being independent and being able to buy things with my own money. Sure, it gets hard especially as a college kid but I’d rather struggle than have someone say “you wouldn’t have that if it wasn’t for me” ya know?
On my day off, I decided to pair these ridiculously comfy J. Crew shorts (that has an elastic waist that’s perfect if you’re bloated after a big meal like me haha) with my favorite white button down. Every girl needs a good white button down in her closet that can be worn for internships, work, or even for casual outfits like this. This Ralph Lauren one is my favorite since it’s anti-wrinkle yet is surprisingly soft and not stiff at all like other shirts. As for the shorts, they were 40% off at J. Crew Factory and you could use your student discount towards them for another 15% off. They’re available in so many cool patterns and colors and I can’t wait to grab some more before they’re sold out!
Thanks for reading, what’s your go-to outfit for days off?

Great floral shorts! They look great the way you styled them. I love them with the burgundy Rebecca Minkoff bag!
