Nothing says preppy quite like Vineyard Vines. I’ve heard of the brand once or twice from other bloggers but it wasn’t until I started working at Ruffles Boutique, did I realize how much I love the brand. The entire clothing line is the right balance between classy and fun that’s perfect for any preppy collegiate. I decided to wear my new hoodie over the weekend for a walk along the canal along with my scallop hem shorts to give it a little twist. I’m usually not one for hoodies but I decided to make an exception once I saw the whale logo on the back. It’s also quite flattering since it’s made out of a thinner material that won’t make you look bulky and perfect for summer nights! As for the flip-flops, I usually wouldn’t wear them in an outfit post but seriously these are the most comfortable pair I own. I go to work in these all the time and my feet never hurt after hours of standing. And yes there’s tiny, little whales on them…how cute!
