Hi ladies! In case you’ve been wondering why I’ve been MIA this past week, it’s because I was super busy at work preparing for a fashion show! Back in March, I got an amazing job at Ruffles boutique which is a gorgeous shop in Rochester, NY that carries classy, preppy, and sophisticated clothes for all occasions. It’s pretty much the perfect place for a fashion-lover to shop! Trust me, I have to fight off the urge to buy something every time I work haha.
There’s something incredibly rewarding about working for small businesses. You can see how much time, effort, and dedication is put into every detail and I feel incredibly lucky to be a part of such a wonderful boutique and fashion show. How lucky am I?!
Anyways! Let’s get to the fun stuff: The YWCP fashion show took place at the Century Club which is this historical house in the city. All proceeds from the show went to the Young Women’s College Prep charter school. Charity + fashion is always a winner in my book.
Apologies in advance for the iPhone photos! I knew I would have a hard time carrying my Canon
everywhere so I left it at home. Oh how I wish THIS was my home though 😉
And here’s our table and rack filled with amazing clothes and accessories that are for sale so customers can easily purchase items they’ve seen on the runway.
Yes Ruffles carries Vineyard Vines clothes!
My job was to help pick outfits for the models and prepare them for the show. I loved working behind the scenes and hopefully I’ll be able to do this some more in the future! How amazing do the models look? Here are some of my favorite looks!
It was defiantly a fun night and I’m so grateful to be a part of it! In case you live in Rochester and feel like checking out the store it’s located on 1464 Monroe Ave. For everyone who’s not local feel free to check out our online shop at Shoptiques!
Hope you enjoyed this post!
