Introducing…one of my all-time favorite perfumes: Escada Island Kiss. I don’t know what it is about Escada perfumes but people just go crazy over them! I think what makes them so special is that a majority of them are limited edition so once they’re gone, it becomes almost impossible to find them. Luckily, the one that I’m sharing with you today is still in many department stores, perfume shops, and sold online.
The top notes are magnolia, passion fruit, and raspberry which isn’t as strong and fruity once sprayed. I would say the middle notes are far more dominant which include hibiscus and rose hip. Lastly, the bottom notes are sandalwood and white woods which gives it some lasting power.
Judging from the name and the notes, you would think it’s a summer-only fragrance but I’ve actually used this year-round because I loved it so much! It’s light and airy for people that are sensitive to scents but still lasts the whole day on your skin.
I wouldn’t label it is as a “sophisticated” fragrance but more for girls who are in college like I am and have just recently started getting out of that Victoria’s Secret body sprays phase. It’s just a great, everyday perfume that’s unique enough to get compliments but isn’t overpowering. I would describe it as being the perfect perfume for someone in their early 20’s.
Until next time lovelies,
-Ruya
