This is just one of those outfits that works great when the weather is between summer and fall (think low 70’s) and you’re left wondering what to wear for school. The Hollister shirt is actually linen and keeps me cool inside stuffy classrooms while the floral pants gives off a summer vibe since it’s not officially fall yet. I decided to give the outfit a more retro look when I noticed that my Hollister shirt was a bit too big on me now. There’s no point in wasting good clothing so I just tied it at the waist and rolled up the sleeves.
As for the pants, they’re great for a girly-girl like me yet once you look at the details you’ll notice they used some leather trim to toughen it up. I splurged on these at Anthropologie last week and they were worth every penny. I’ve never had a pair of pants that I didn’t have to tailor until now! These ones fit me perfectly! If you’re short like me and need a good pair of pants, look no further than Anthropologie. Although I don’t think the place is ideal for a college girl’s budget, every once in a while it’s nice to splurge there because the quality and fit is fantastic. Plus who doesn’t love the window displays and decorations they have in there?! So artsy!
Oh and if you’re wondering where I took these photos at, it’s at my own college campus of course! What kind of college fashion blogger would I be if I didn’t take pics at my own campus? Honestly, I felt a bit cheesy while doing this cause it felt like I was in one of those back to school Target commercials but oh well!
Well that’s it for now, I hope you all are having fun back at college!
Until next time lovelies,
-Ruya
