Top: Forever 21, Skirt: Topshop via Nordstrom, Shoes: DV by Dolce Vita Joust Boots, Bag: Michael Kors Hamilton, Sunglasses: Ray-Ban Wayfarer, Bracelets: Istanbul, Nail Polish: Essie Sand Tropez
When it comes to British fashion, the first place I go to is Topshop. Unfortunately, we don’t have a Topshop where I live (or even a H&M, how sad is that?!) so I either order from their online store or from Nordstrom which has quicker shipping for us Americans. I fell in love with this embroidered skirt right when I saw it on the website and it’s currently the most colorful item I own in my wardrobe. I always tend to gravitate towards solids but I just couldn’t resist the pattern (Indian-inspired perhaps?) and how my new bag made the green in the skirt stand out more. My only complaint with the skirt is that I wish the pattern continued in the back instead of it being a plain cotton material.
As for the rest of the outfit, I kept everything else simple with a black long sleeve shirt and the “Joust” boots from Dolce Vita. For the accessories, I went with my trusty Ray-Bans and some dainty bracelets that I bought at a flea market in Istanbul. About 90% of my jewelry comes from the flea markets in Turkey and that’s because you can find so many unique pieces there for ridiculously cheap.
Until next time lovelies,

Hi, I was searching for reviews of this skirt and found my way to your blog. I also purchased this skirt on Nordstroms website. I bought a UK 10, US 6, however, it looks more like a Size 0. Would you mind telling me which size you purchased and what the waist measurement? Thank you!

Hi there! I usually wear a US size 6 so I bought the UK 12 which is listed as US 8 on the website. It's completely wrong and I hate how inconsistent Topshop is with their sizes so I'm not surprised you're having problems as well. I measured the waist for you and it turned out to be about 28''. Hope this helps!
