It’s been a long time since I’ve done a current obsession post, and it’s been an even longer time since Megan Fox has graced the cover of a magazine! I was surprised to see her on the cover of Cosmopolitan a few days ago when I was at the drugstore. Although Cosmo isn’t a magazine that I frequently buy since it’s not entirely fashion-related, but I couldn’t help but pick this one up when I saw the gorgeous pieces that Megan Fox was wearing.
One thing I’ve noticed about Cosmopolitan photo shoots is that it always has a good balance between girly-ness and sexy. It’s never too much but just the right amount to keep it tasteful and that’s the perfect way to describe Megan’s photoshoot with them as well.
The shoot was filled with bright, colorful pieces that remains with the summer theme that magazines are currently following. Although I’m not one for tons of color, the clothing had a sophisticated edge to it (such as this gorgeous peplum dress below) that made it look more modern than childish.
Of course, my favorite outfit was this white top and skirt (no surprise there) that seems to be from two different eras yet works in harmony when put together. The structured top is futuristic while the feminine skirt balances it out from looking too severe. A perfect combination if you ask me!
