In 2013, I was the typical lost college student. Countless times I caught myself staring out the window of my classroom, wishing that I was living a different life. I had doubts that the kind of career I wanted had even existed. Why couldn’t I try on different careers the same way that I try on dresses and see which one fits best? Yet a small step in the right direction was all it took to change my life and that was by starting my own blog.
After a few short months, I was able to monetize and began partnering with some incredible brands which developed my passion for online storytelling. This motivated me to switch my major halfway through my college career and graduate with a Bachelor’s in Media Management. Over time, I was able to build a platform where I shared my love for fashion and my personal journey and most importantly build relationships with some incredible readers and bloggers everyday.
Blogging has taught me so many important lessons but one of the biggest ones was that in life, not everything that you’re after can be purchased. It can only be earned through hard work and courage. I hope this blog encourages everyone to stop living in their heads and to create a new reality that is better than your dreams and to dress beautifully along the way.

Hey Ruya! I totally know what you mean. Picking one college major has been the most challenging thing I've ever done. It's hard for me to pick just one when I feel like I could be good at so many. We sound like we have a lot in common. It was nice finding your blog through Pinterest!

Great read! Picking the right major is tough. Choosing to stick to one path at the mere age of 17 / 18 is so, so difficult! Good for you for sticking to what makes you happy! 🙂
