To tell ya the truth…I HATE Sally Hansen nail strips yet couldn’t resist buying these sparkly, ombre ones that I saw at Ulta. I’ll admit the patterns are amazing but I just hate how thin they are and how easily they rip compared to other nail strips. It’s almost as if the strips are made out of paper and typically last for a short period of time. I think the longest they’ve ever lasted on me without chipping or peeling is 3 days. The ones that I’m wearing today are called 285 The Bold Rush and they are quite eye-catching! It’s a gold and plum ombre and shine beautifully in the light. I added a top coat after applying the strips in order to give them more shine and have them stay on my nails a bit longer.
Personally, I prefer Kiss Nail Dress nail strips because they come in more unique designs with rhinestones and have a gel-like quality to the strips that make them stick onto your nails better and last longer. No matter how much you stretch them, they don’t rip and a few strips come in a “accent” nail design that you could mix and match with. I don’t think it’s worth it to pay $7-$8 for nail strips that don’t even last a week long but with Kiss I always have had good results.
Once in a while, I do think it’s nice to splurge on a few nails strips and take a break from painting my nails so much and on top of it, I have short, squarish, curved nails so I tend to have more nail problems than most people (Ugh!)
What do you guys think of the Sally Hansen nail strips? Any other brands you guys like?
Until next time lovelies,
