The weather is still in the 100’s here in Dallas and there’s no sign of fall ahead – but why not pretend fall is coming with some transition pieces? I bought this gorgeous forest green dress from Red Dress boutique and paired it with some cognac accessories. I discovered Red Dress boutique through bloggers who always seem to get sponsored by them so I wanted to see if it was actually good or not (even as a blogger, I don’t always trust the opinions of other bloggers! lol).
This is my first time purchasing from Red Dress and I have to say I’m impressed! Normally I’m not too fond of “Instagram” boutiques cause the quality can be cheap but this dress was amazing, comfortable and fit perfectly. This does run big so I decided to size down to a medium. It’s also available in 10 other colors but keeps selling out so I recommend ordering quick! I also grabbed a pair of these taupe ankle boots which I’m planning on pairing with some dresses and skirts in the future and once it’s fall, with skinny jeans and sweaters.
I’ll probably be living in fall-colored dresses until the weather cools down or until my fall trip in October! I’m actually going back up to the north to experience a real fall again. I didn’t take any trips during the summer so I thought it would be the perfect time to take some time off of work during my favorite season. The last time I experienced fall was almost 3 years ago back in my hometown in Rochester so I’m eager to experience it again. It’s funny how we take something like seasons for granted!
Do you like fall or do you think it’s overrated? What do you wear around this time of the year? I’d love to know!
