It’s been 2 years since I graduated college (woah) but I still have friends in college and it’s such an exciting and hectic time of year for them. Since they all go to schools far away from where I live and it will be a while until we see each other again, I always like to create a back to school kit for them! The kit is not only filled with cute things that reminds them of home and our friendship but also useful things that everyone needs in college. Here’s how to make the perfect back to school kit for your besties:
Fill It With Things That Remind Them of Home
Everyone gets homesick, so I always start by filling up the back to school kit with things that my best friends always loved to do together when they were home. We always loved doing each other’s hair and makeup when going out on the weekends so I added some nail polish, mini hair spray and an eyeshadow in a neutral color that they can wear everyday.
Self-Care
Sometimes, taking care of yourself is hard during college when you have a million other things to worry about. That’s why I included some body wash from Dial® into the kit. While we all take showers everyday, there’s something so relaxing about getting up a few minutes early, taking a long shower, being able to breathe in the scent of a body wash and taking the time to take care of your skin.
