It’s been a while since I’ve done an outfit post and I sure have missed it! As far as fashion goes, I just haven’t been inspired lately and I always seem to feel this way during the winter. Luckily, it’s starting to warm up in Dallas (although my first winter here was lovely since this is the first time I don’t have to drive in snow and blizzards. Meanwhile it’s still snowing in Rochester! HA. Believe it or not I still check the weather there just so I could feel even better about my move across the country lol) and I’m seeing stores stock up with spring and summer clothes so I’m starting to feel excited again. 

Normally I’m not much of a pattern person but I always have room in my closet for houndstooth – one of my favorite trends from the 90s. Right when I spotted this blazer at H&M, I knew it would be a great piece for work or a classy dinner. It’s also lightweight so it’s perfect to wear as a transition piece for the spring. Sadly it seems to be sold out online but I linked similar pieces for around the same price below or check in stores cause I know it’s a part of the current collection. Speaking of classy, check out these heels which is such a beautiful dupe of the designer version but only for $50! It also comes in yellow, black, and blue and has a satin finish which makes them look so much more expensive. I’ve been getting so many compliments on them and can’t wait to wear them for more special occasions such as wedding season. I added a link to it above so make sure to check them out.
