I’ve tried to write this post a thousand times but it’s one of those big moments in life that’s hard to describe in words. It’s officially been 6 months since we’ve gotten married and I thought it was the perfect time to finally share my wedding photos on the blog! We actually waited almost 4 months for our photos to come back but it was totally worth it! Everything about the day was so seamless and…dare I say it – RELAXING? That’s the beauty of microweddings and elopements. The day felt so genuine and true to us. There was no need to put on an extravagant show. No need to impress people. No moments of overwhelming anxiety or worrying about things going wrong. I remember feeling so calm and at peace which is a rare feeling for me. I can honestly say it was the most relaxing day of my life. The day was just about us and celebrating how special love can be. Even though due to circumstances, we ended up having a microwedding and always had the plan to do something bigger in the future – in the end we loved the day so much that we knew nothing in the future could top it. If you’re thinking about having a microwedding or just wanting to do something that’s not “traditional” or “big/over the top”, I highly recommend it! The best advice that I can give to anyone getting married is: stay true to who you are and make the day about you two – not about other people. And don’t feel guilty about it!
Lastly, I just want to thank everyone that has read my blog over the years and has followed my journey. I started this blog when I was in college and never thought one day I would be sharing my wedding photos on here!
