It’s no surprise that my last week in NYC would also be one of the most emotional weeks of my life. It’s just been so hard to accept the fact that I have to leave one of the most wonderful cities in the world and go back to my normal life in Rochester. My entire time in NYC felt like a dream: sometimes a fantasy and sometimes a nightmare haha. While I did have some Carrie Bradshaw moments, there was also a lot of moments that made me realize how hard life out there actually is. It’s nothing like the movies and I don’t think I’m going to be moving out there after college is over but that doesn’t mean that I didn’t have the time of my life these past three months. It changed me in so many ways and definitely made me come one step closer to understanding what my calling is in life. I’m so glad I took a risk and did it and I hope that all of you take more risks in your life so you can improve and become the person you’ve been dreaming of. If I had to choose one quote to represent the entire experience it would be this:
“It’s been harder than I thought, easier than I thought, and worth more than I ever thought” ♥
Now let’s talk about the outfit: I’m obsessed with chambray shirts and consider it a staple in my closet. It goes with almost everything and can be dressed up or down. I decided to pair it with these high-waisted pink shorts that I actually wore in my very first outfit post back in the day and they finally fit again now that I’ve lost a little bit of weight from healthy eating. Feels so nice to see some results! Lastly, the bag. As usual Bagdujour came to the rescue with this gorgeous Chloe flowerpatch bag that I already reviewed earlier this week which you can see here. I’ll admit this is actually my first time carrying a patterned bag and I couldn’t be more in love with it especially against a chambray shirt!
