It’s that time of year again…cold season, yuck. My goal every fall/winter is to not catch a cold but the worst ones always seem to find me at the most inconvenient times. In fact, I’m pretty sure I’ll have a cold right around finals! It’s almost like my secret good luck charm haha. One of the many things that sucks about being an adult is that you don’t always get to take days off from school or work because you’re sick so you gotta find some quick ways to feel better fast. Here’s some of my tips that work like a charm and help you to feel better in no time so you can go back to working on that group project that you hate so much (or is that just me?)
Make sure to dedicate an hour or two to yourself when you’re sick. I find that stress makes colds even worse and they seem to last longer. I love to relax by taking a bubble bath, writing for the blog, or painting my nails with fun colors to brighten up my mood.
We all know that there’s no cure for the common cold, but there’s no reason why you should be suffering. If you want to shorten your cold and get some quick relief so you can go on with your day, I recommend: Cold-EEZE® Cold Remedy Plus Natural Multi-Symptom Relief Cold & Flu QuickMelts®. It’s an over the counter medicine that contains active ingredients that helps relieve symptoms such as cough, congestion, and my least favorite – sore throat, ugh. The best part is that the QuickMelts® dissolves quickly into your mouth (for all you science majors, it releases zinc ions so it can shorten the cold!) without needing water so you can easily take it whenever you want whether it’s in class or at work.
Hope this post helps you lovelies feel better the next time that you’re sick!
