Hello lovelies! I haven’t been that inspired lately when it comes to celebrity fashion but then I watched an episode of Conan two weeks ago and saw Emily Blunt in this gorgeous all-white outfit. If you’ve already read my “Sports Glamour” post (here), I talked about my obsession with head-to-toe white and thought this was a perfect example of how to wear white but in a more formal setting without looking like a bride.
Although there’s not many good photos of this look (shame!), you can see that Emily chose to wear a strapless crop top and paired it with high-waisted pants which I’m about 99% sure is by Victoria Beckham. I remember seeing Victoria wearing that same crop top on the red carpet at the Met Ball and know that it was one of her designs. Sadly, I didn’t see anything on the web confirming who the designer was but whoever it is, did a fantastic job.
Anyways, most people wouldn’t think that a crop top and high waisted pants would be something for a formal event but it’s actually quite the classy look especially since Emily topped it off with some retro waves and red lipstick. Mind you, she’s wearing a crop top without showing any skin so it’s sophisticated enough for a formal event yet manages to stand out from the rest. I can totally see myself wearing something like this to an event, if only I had an somewhere to go to! *sighs*.
