Hair masks are one of the best things ever created yet for some reason not all of them are this amazing AND cheap. I discovered this Organix Argan Oil Moisturizing Treatment last summer and ever since then I’ve been hooked! It’s such a steal for only $7-$8 at Ulta (and most drugstores where Organix is sold) and is one of my holy grail products for hair! Since I have naturally wavy/curly hair, my hair is always dry and I’ve been dying my hair for a couple years now so the dryness has increased but this totally saves my hair every time! I tend to use it more in the summertime since my hair sees more sunlight and keeps fading and going lighter because of my dark blonde highlights.
I typically use it once a week and leave it on for a half hour with a shower cap, but for more damaged hair, twice a week would be recommended. I normally just shampoo my hair and skip conditioner and use this and I find my hair to be smoother, shiny, and moisturized without weighing it down or having it look oily (my pet peeve!).
It does have a light fruity smell which for some reason reminds me of Hawaii and obviously you can smell a little bit of the argan oil but overall it’s not bothersome. It is a cream formula and luckily doesn’t make a mess in the shower when putting it on your hair and you can literally feel it melting and penetrating each strand. I highly recommend this for damaged hair that you can’t get a comb through because it de-tangles hair so easily after washing it out. Basically after using this I can just let it air-dry and walk out the door since my hair looks THAT fabulous.
