It’s no secret that I’m constantly inspired by summer. From my blog design to my Instagram feed, I’m always sneaking in hints of palm trees, beaches or turquoise colors – that’s just my personal aesthetic! So when I saw this palm print dress on Vici, I knew I had to have it even though I have absolutely no place to wear it to these days!
This would’ve been the perfect vacation dress for Florida or Mexico but for now, I’ll just have to settle for wearing it in a blog photo near some random bushes that we found at the Bishop Arts district in Dallas. It was a 100 degrees that day and we couldn’t find any empty spots to shoot (Bishop Arts is filled with amazing murals but of course tons of people walking around and bad lighting made it difficult!) so we settled on this but I think it works well to highlight the amazing print on this dress. It’s a high-low dress and runs big so size down. It’s super flattering and hides any problem areas. It’s still available here and they also have the one-shoulder top version. I paired it with my usual wedges and wooden bag (I really have to switch it up these days and wear something else haha).
